What we put in place

Only features that exist in the BolJao product — presented clearly so you know what to use before, during, and after a trip.

Licence & vehicle verification
Hosts can upload a driving licence and register vehicles. When checks are approved, verification signals appear on relevant profiles.

Know who you ride with
Trip details can include host name, photo, rating, bio, and vehicle information before you book.

Trip start & completion OTPs
OTP codes help confirm when a shared trip starts and when it is completed between passenger and host.

Trusted emergency contacts
Add trusted contacts in your profile so you can reach them quickly in an emergency.

Emergency SOS
During an eligible ongoing ride, use SOS to call a trusted contact or emergency number (100). Misuse of SOS is not allowed.

Your role in a safer trip
- Verify trip details and host or passenger information before you travel.
- Share OTP codes only with the person you are riding with for that trip.
- Keep trusted contacts up to date.
- Use Emergency SOS only for genuine emergencies during an eligible ride.
